The last Squadron 78 leaves Fairline Yachts in Oundle
On March 28th the last unit of the renowned Squadron 78 model left the Fairline Yachts factory in Oundle, England.
After 15 years and 115 Fairline Squadron 78 motor yachts built in that time, the popular Squadron 78 flybridge motoryacht is being discontinued to make room for an even larger new flagship Fairline model.
Fairline's new production facilities in Southampton will be the home for the development and production of the upcoming larger model.
Russell Currie, Managing Director at Fairline Yachts, comments, “The Squadron 78 is a yacht which offered power and style in abundance. It has had an amazing production run and has certainly paved the way for the next generation of large Squadron models. We look forward to sharing the details of our new flagship boat in the near future.”
